Fourth of July!

Well sadly we are back from our 3 week trip to Valley Springs, CA (Jay's parent's house). As I mentioned on a previous blog I absolutely LOVED being there and didn't want to come back to HOT Las Vegas. It wasn't just the weather though. I imagined myself living there and enjoying every second of it. Valley Springs is covered in oak trees, rolling hills and SILENCE. I didn't hear a single airplane, the constant roaring of traffic or even a siren. It was heavenly! It doesn't hurt that I LOVE my in-laws to death and enjoy every moment in their company. Maddy had a blast too! Today she has been going through withdraws of not being with Grandma, Papa, Cleo (their dog) or able to go outside and play for most of the day. The pictures of your girls are SO adorable! I can't believe how big both of them are getting. I'm glad you guys had a good time in California. We really need to get over there sometime to see Grandma. Hopefully we can get together sometime this month or next. I'll give you a call! Love, Jane

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun there! Is that near Lodi? (We will be there next week for my cousins wedding.)

Your girls are adorable! I think you need to move back to CA! ;) We are usually up in that part of the state once a year, then we could see each other more!
