This morning as I was reading a few blogs that I subscribe to my 2 year old daughter, Madelyn, somehow ended up in my lap. I was so busy reading that it took me about a minute to realize that she was repeating over and over again "I love you, Mommy!". As soon as I responded with a big I love you she instantly hugged me and giggled with excitement. She then continued to tell me how much she loved me for a few minutes longer and then started to poke my eyes with her fingers. Guess that was my cue to stop reading and pay more attention to her.

What a perfectly precious moment. I feel so sad for moms who miss out on all those special little moments. And I feel even worse for the kids who don't have the opportunity to have them.
