Dougherty Family Videos

Well I have been wanting to blog more, but have been so busy and I lost the camera so I can't post any recent pictures. I have found some videos in our family archive that I thought would be fun to show. So maybe in the next few posts you will be treated to some of the Dougherty Home Productions. I love that I have a husband who is so creative and good with making movies. He started it at BYU with his roommate and has been making movies ever since. It has brought a lot of laughter into our home! And has made Madelyn our little resident actress. If the camera goes on she turns into a little ham and does exactly what we ask her to do. Maybe that is the key to getting a 2 year old to listen to you. Start video taping them!
This is a video Jay made for me one Christmas while we were dating. He was in Australia for 3 weeks with his family while I was in California. This was one of my Christmas Presents. I think I watched it a total of 30 times in just a few days.

More videos to come....they just get cheesier from here on out!!

"Kaelyn the Alien"

Okay I just came across this picture and couldn't help myself from showing it to everyone. This is Kaelyn at 3 mo. old. I always wanted a little girls with lots of hair, but never would have guessed she would have this much hair. Just for the fun of it I put it in two pigtails the other day. Jay called her our alien baby. I think she looks sooo cute. I love all this hair!

Our Nemo Moments

Lately Maddy has been watching the movie Finding Nemo (if I let her it would be all day long). It is just about the only thing she talks about. Yesterday we went to the Lied's Children's Museum and as soon as we got there she found this turtle in the lobby area and sat there forever talking to it. It was her "Nemo turtle".

Then we had to ride the turtle and she thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Here is Maddy making cookies the other day. Notice which shapes she picked out... FINDING NEMO SHAPES (fish, sharks, turtles...)

Our Journey Begins..

Hello Everyone!! I am excited to start blogging. It is so fun to get your blogs and so I thought I would join the party. My husband has been the family blogger since we were first married and started our website www.megjay.com. I had always looked at blogging as something a computer savvy individual could do, but I was wrong. We just got our internet service back a few days ago so I thought I would start something new. Here I go...
