Welcome Brooklyn LeIsle

This past Friday Brooklyn LeIsle was born into our family. She is so cute with lots of black hair and a laid back personality. My mom was here to help out, Jay's mom is now going to take over and then my sister, Collette will be coming later on this week. I have been getting dinners from friends and family and Jay and the even the girls have been a big help. We are so excited to have her here!

Madelyn's First Day of Primary

Maddy offically became a Sunbeam last week. We are so excited for her. So far she has really enjoyed her teacher and has come home singing a new song she has learned for the past two weeks. We love you Maddy! You are growing up so fast!

December Fun

Here are some pictures of what went on in our house in December.

The girls went to the Cactus Gardens and saw Santa.

Every year the girls get new ornaments to hang on the tree. This year we let them go to the store and pick them out. Above is Madelyn with her pink horse and Kaelyn of course picked out a "meow" ornament (a kitty).

Sprinkling Reindeer dust (mixture of oats and confetti) on lawn to ensure Santa can find our house.

Posing in their Christmas Eve Pajamas with Grandma Dougherty.

Love this photo!

We had a special visitor come to Grandma and Grandpa Dougherty's House. Who could it be?

Madelyn Singing

Here are a few singing clips of Madelyn. One is at her Joy School Christmas Presentation and the other is her singing her favorite Christmas song of the year in front of the tree.

Black Friday Mania

I had never participated in Black Friday Mania before so I decided to give it a shot this year. My mom and I tagged along with my friend Michelle who is a total Black Friday Pro and got some great deals!! Waking up at 3:15 AM was a little crazy, but we got everything we were hoping to get and were usually first in line to check out (thanks to Michelle and her "get what you came for and get out of there" plan).

Michelle and I in line outside of Kohls at 3:45 AM

My mom and I in line.

Some of our loot from our early morning shopping (there is more in the front part of the van).

Thanksgiving 2009

For Thanksgiving this year my mom came out and spent the weekend with us. Instead of being on our feet for two days cooking a meal we decided to hit a local buffet. Good choice! The food was excellent and it was so nice to not have to cook.

Lolo and the girls. They are so excited she is here they couldn't wait for her to get up.

Maddy making a silly face!

At the restaurant. My mom, me and Madelyn.

Madelyn smiling for the camera.

Kaelyn being silly at the table.

Jay and his brother, Aaron.

It's a miracle!

After two months of not being able to find the cable to put all our pictures on our computer WE FOUND IT! We have been looking EVERYWHERE! We even took a full day of reorganizing our office to find it! And where did we find it you ask? Behind our AMP that we never use. How did it get there?

So... here goes a long list of blog posts to make up for missed time! Enjoy!
